I was quite surprised when my takeout noodle dish was a disappointment.
I was quite surprised when my takeout noodle dish was a disappointment. Perhaps my expectations were too high since this is an O & B restaurant with chef Eric who was previously crowned Master Chef Canada but all I could taste was black pepper.However to...be fair, the dish was called Black Pepper Prawn Noodles. I just wished it had a bit more of something to make it great. On the good side were the ingredients- bok choy, prawns, peppers - all fresh and cooked perfectly in egg noodles. Hopefully once the dining room is open again, I’ll try something else and also not be eating on my own until then I can only tell you that my first and only take out dish at R & D was not delicious as I had expected.
