Having dined at D-Jay's in Winnipeg back in 80's, thought we would try it again during our recent family visit. We made a reservation in the lounge & social distancing measures were in place due to Covid-19. It felt like we were still in the...80's - the food was still delicious although the menu has changed slightly & the atmosphere was definitely 80's. The service dropped off as our evening went on, perhaps because they were short staffed, not sure. They had tables set up outside as well but it was noisy being right in the parking lot along Portage Avenue. Parking is still a challenge with signs everywhere saying you cannot park unless you're using the nearby gym but our server said you can ignore the signs?! Likely wouldn't return to D-Jay's when we return to Winnipeg.
