We picked this place because it was capable of accommodating a small group gathered to celebrate the anniversary of two elderly members of our family. Le Bordelais has a reputation of being a favorite of the golden age. Maybe because it offers flavors and favorites...from the 70's and the 80's. In by itself, it's not a crime, but when everything is made from what is processed food that's a crime. Their mashed potatoes and their sauces are made from powder. Their salmon tastes exactly like pre-portioned overcooked frozen filets, their seafood pasta is made of overcooked prawns and tough and rubbery mussels that you'll never be able to part from its shell, their lamb is overcooked and gray and depressing, and their baked Alaska is made from cheap Neapolitan ice cream. And I'm not talking about the decor that dates... The only good thing about this place is that its convenient for people with limited mobility and it's mostly what their clientele.
