We went to Chine Hotpot on a Saturday night about 7:30pm. There were only 2 of us so getting a table was easy. The room seemed busy, but not hectic; it was clean, new and had a very nice atmosphere. The friend I went with...was chinese and has only been in Canada about 15 years, so he is still very familiar with Hot Pot. He was impressed and said is now the second place he knows of in Calgary for good hot pot. As each place setting has it's own burner, we received our own broths, I think there were 4 to chose from - one ordered quite hot, and the other quite mild, Both broths were very tasty. We had a great variety of food, likely about 20 things. There was so much food! It was so good we ate most of it. We could have done with much less, but my friend just kept ordering. The experience was wonderful and so was the food. Price was very good - very similar to Pho if you aren't a very large eater. I would say go, try it, and I bet you'll enjoy it as much as I did.
