We recently heard that there was a new restaurant on Monkland Ave right near Grand Blvd. As their name implies Gyro Boutique, it is very small. Its basically a place where you can call in your order for pick up or have it delivered. When...I called in for pick up, Leo the owner, took my order. We waited about 10 minutes once we arrived for it to be ready. We decided to order their 2 posted specials. Great deal!! My wife ordered one Chicken Pita, all dressed with fries and a drink ($8.70 +tax). I ordered 2 Brochettes, one Chicken, one Pork ($9.99+tax). It came with some nice hot pita, a small Tzitziki and rice. I asked to have half rice/half Greek potatoes. I also ordered a small Greek salad. Everything was quite good. My wife liked her Chicken Pita but it could have used an extra dollop of Tzitziki. My brochettes were soft and tender, not overcooked. The rice and Greek potatoes were very good. I ordered a small Greek salad, which we shared. It was very good. Definitely work the price. Antoine, the cook that night did a good job. Also, all their containers are microwavable, just in case you want to heat up something. Nice touch! If you are in the NDG area, give them a try, you will not be dissapoinred. Enjoy!More
