I stopped here for lunch with my daughter. When I reviewed the menu, I was surprised how expensive some of the ramen dishes could be. So instead of ordering two different bowls I ordered one Shoyu Ramen with extra noodles (add $1.25), one piece of...the mega kaarage and one order of gyoza. - Ramen was good. Broth was not too salty and had a nice depth to it. Chashu was actually one of most tender ones I’ve had in a ramen dish. But even with extra noodles, it didn’t seem like a lot of noodles so I would hate to imagine how much noodles you get in regular order - Mega Kaarage was also very good. Moist, juicy with a very crunchy skin. But also very expensive for such a small portion. - Gyoza - Ok. Nothing wrong with it. But I couldn’t tell the difference between their homemade one versus a frozen mass produced one. Service was fine. One of the few restaurants that is electronic payment only. They don’t accept cash. Parking is a bit odd. The previous business used the space between the restaurant and the neighbouring Dairy Queen as a thoroughfare. But I guess since Marutama Gaiden took over they decided to use it as parking but they haven’t put up any signage or lines on the ground to indicate this. In fact, there’s still a one way arrow on the ground that would imply it’s still supposed to be a thoroughfare. It’s a bit confusing so if unsure, you’ll need to use pay street parking or try to find free parking in the residential areas 2 blocks away. Pretty good food, but a bit expensive.
