Decided last minute to go out to eat, and settled on the Barley Mow just off of March Road in Morgan's Grant Kanata. The initial service was slow, as our server was settling up with other customers, but once she got to us she was...warm and friendly. We both had the fish and chips, which were really quite good and on special. It's a 1 piece, but a big 1 piece! The homemade slaw is very tasty, as well as the tartar sauce. The only less than great surprise was the cost of the glass of wine my wife had with dinner. $15 should be on the drink menu so you know what you're getting yourself into, but I guess we should know better as there were no prices listed. Live and learn.
