Went to the pub for a beer and dinner, they have set up a nice group of tables in the parking lot to expand their outdoor seating, this is very well done and within all of the guidelines. The service, food and beverages were great...and the manager was very accommodating. Only downside was a group of three people who sat at one of the tables not drinking or eating despite the fact that there was a line of people waiting to get in. Eventually the manager asked if they could possibly leave to allow others to use their limited seating. One of the women, let’s call her Karen then proceeded to berate the manager which was totally uncalled for and underlined the fact that she is oblivious to the fact that eateries rely on table turns to try an eke out a living in these trying times. Karen carried on at the entrance and in the parking lot were the manager did his best to appease the group only to be told that she would write a negative review. This is totally unjustified and underlined her ignorance to the current situation and the fact that eateries have been in survival mode for the last 15 months. Nothing but respect for the manager and his actions.
