My wife and I attended this location on a Thursday evening with our daughter to celebrate her third birthday. Upon arrival we were promptly seated as the restaurant was not overly that busy. Our server greeted us and took our drink and food order and...the drinks were promptly brought to our us but unfortunately that is where the speed stoped. After waiting a little over 45 minutes, our food finally arrived to our table. While we waiting for our food we could see many orders flying out of the kitchen that appeared to be for skip the dishes. Yet many of the dine in customers were waiting just as long as we did for our food to arrive. We ordered our daughter a kids pepperoni pizza which arrived with no pepperoni. Our server said he would get it corrected and about 10 minutes later he came back with 8 cooked pieces of pepperoni on a plate. Our server stated to just put the pieces of pepperoni on top as “this is what the kitchen would’ve done.” Only after we said that was unacceptable he offered to us get a new pizza. As my daughter was hungry from the wait, we said not to bother. In addition to the error with pizza, my wife’s fries arrived cold and my burger was warm. Later that night I left feedback through the Red Robin website and received a call the next day from Alan, the assistant general manager. I proceeded to explain our experience and found Alan continually interrupted me with excuses to our dining experience. He stated that they have been struggling with balancing the priorities between restaurant guests and “third parties.” He then blamed the pizza error on the server stating “[the server] was known for cutting corners” and probably entered it in as a cheese pizza. Alan then seemed to give me the company line of how to earn our business back without seeming empathetic to our experience. Overall we will not return or dine from to this location again. The restaurant industry is pushing for people to return to dining in at restaurants but this location is not doing anything to make people want to return. They seem to be more than happy to let third parties like skip the dishes keep their business going.
