I called two weeks ago and made a reservation for 12 at this restaurant. In fact, I made the reservation with the owner. It was for tonight Oct 1 at 6 p.m. I ended by leaving my name and phone number. I will scythes was...a post-funeral family dinner. I called at 5 this evening to confirm. I called and called and called and called. There was a message very faint on the phone. I called the owner at her number. nothing So i called another restaurant and we all went there. It was a real hassle to contact everyone and arrange getting everybody there. I dropped by this restaurant on the way to the new place. It was closed, lights off and renovations notice on the door. The owner had my phone number and name and yet never all called me. This was a post-funeral family dinner and I am so upset by what could have happened had we just shown up at the restaurant. The lack of notice was especially despicable. Not the way to treat people. perhaps this why you are ``closed for reservations.''More
