Mediocre pizza, terrible service I don't often leave reviews but I felt compelled due to the terrible experience we had. I ordered through skip the dishes as I was having guests over and thought this would be a fun place to try. I didn't really...care that their pizza seemed wildly over priced. I ordered 3 16 inch pizzas, one of which was vegetarian due to 2 vegetarian guests. I get a call 5 minutes after ordering saying they ran out of mushrooms. Ok, bizarre for a pizza place but fine, what can you do. I then am spending time with my guests to find that carbone tried calling a few times 15 minutes after the initial call. I call them back and they let me know that they're out of a vegetarian topping so they just cancelled that pizza and made 2 of the 3 and the courrier was there so they're just going to send two - but "don't worry, we won't charge you". Great. So I had to explain to my vegetarian guests that they wouldn't be eating so they went to A and W to get beyond meat burgers. That is not a good feeling as a host. As I'm speaking to the worker on the phone about possibly getting the 3rd pizza with a substitute topping, the manager interrupts the worker to tell me that this is my fault because I didn't answer my phone. I had to suspend my disbelief; how am i supposed to assume that a pizza place would be out of multiple toppings, and that I would receive not one, but two separate phone calls about this. Frustrated but accepting my loss, I wait for the pizza. When it arrives, I have one 16 inch pizza as ordered and one 12 inch pizza. I checked my receipt to make sure I didn't make the error, but no, I ordered 3 16 inch pizzas and ended up with one 16 inch and one 12 inch. How were they going to make this right? By refunding me the difference of a 16 inch to a 12 inch. Thanks Carbone. The silver lining to this is that I will never have to experience something like this again as I'll never order from here again. I'm also going to be vocal about this with everyone I know. I love pizza and often talk about my favorite pizza places. This pizza really is not bad, but it doesn't stand out. It especially isn't worth it for the headache due to complete incompetence regarding getting the order right, properly stocking your ingredients, and the terrible customer service. I could accept all of the above if it wasn't for the customer service. To be blamed for the incompetence is something I just can't get over Do yourself a favor, order anywhere else and you'll actually get what you orderedMore
