There are so many cute hidden gems in Strathcona and this is my new favourite. They make this smoked carrot lox toast and it tastes like smoked salmon on toast. You have to try it to believe it. I also recommend the banana bread. Friendly...atmosphere + good excuse to get out and explore more of Strathcona.
