Note that they are only doing take out right now & their washrooms aren't open. So if you need a washroom you have to find somewhere else to go! That's a bit inconvenient for me as I'm not familiar with the area. Anyway, I met...a friend here for lunch. I did the make your own crepe with turkey, mushrooms, lettuce & tomato pesto. The crepe was delicious. The size of it makes it more than just a snack. I would classify it as a light lunch. The batter of crepe didn't have much flavour but from my experience that's normal. Crepe batter I think isn't meant to have much flavour. It's what's inside that give the flavour. The ingredients I chose all tasted fresh and good quality. I don't usually eat deli meats but this one was good. There was only one lady at the front when we came in to make our order. She said it would take ten minutes. So my friend & I went to find a washroom so we could wash our hands, etc. We went to a Tim Horton's nearby. When we came back to pick up our order there were two other guys there making crepes by the stations in front of the windows & our orders were ready. There was also more people there making orders & picking up their orders. We found a seat at the church park nearby. The packaging for the crepe is interesting. It's in a triangle shape & inside there's a drip cup at the very bottom which you don't see until the end. I got a box with mine because I was concerned about dripping all over myself. It's my first time having a crepe here so I didn't know about the drip cup. When you start eating the crepe you tear the front part. Then as you eat downwards you tear the cardboard at the back until you get to the bottom of the crepe. That's when I discovered the drip cup. I thought that was pretty innovative. The only other way I've eaten crepes is on a plate with knife & fork. The way Crepe TO has packaged it you can eat the crepe on the go which can be very handy. The inside of the restaurant isn't that large for seating. I quickly glanced around when I made my order & saw about 4 tables that could seat four people. It is clean inside at least. The people making the crepes & taking the orders are nice & seem to work efficiently. I would've given then 5 stars if they had their washrooms open & their dining area too. I found it a little strange when there were restaurants very close by allowing people to eat in. What if it had been raining or ridiculously hot? There would've been no where for us to go in those cases.
