I have been going to the Chalet BBQ since I was 5 years old...65 years ago! My father would often take me after Sunday Mass. It has become a fond, childhood memory of times spent with my Dad. While raising our kids, when they came...home from summer camp or being away, the first thing they asked for was Chalet BBQ chicken. The chicken is always succulent, juicy and flavourful. The fries are amazing; just the right amount of crispiness and flavour. And the sauce is to die for! Even the cole slaw is crunchy and tasty! The restaurant with the old pine panelling and pictures of Swiss scenes have not changed over the years. The place needs an update and larger booths for today's larger people, but who cares! It's the meal which is very reasonably priced and the best barbecue meal in the city and maybe in the world that you go there for. Long live the Chalet BBQ!More
