Nice little spot that we found while trying to find a place for dinner on a weekend summer in Vancouver (yes, without reservations)... We came across Kosoo which is just south of Robson, on Cardero. It’s about 50m from Robson St. so you went the...wrong way if you don’t see it on Cardero after walking 10 seconds from Robson St. First walking in, it was busy with people, and I couldn’t help but see everyone having a huge pot of food in front of them to share. It turned out that almost everyone ordered the hot pot share plates, and among other great things to order was the bibimbap, etc. Korean restaurants serve food that generally comes in a spicy variety from mild to hot - and this place was no different. The flavors were well blended with no one ingredient overpowering. The bibimbap was not served in a stone bowl, (as what I generally ate it in), but it was just as good, if not better because they throw in different ingredients like kale, etc. A restaurant with reasonable pricing. The crowd is reminiscent of a popular restaurant on Asia with casual customers ranging from young adults, and tourists, to middle aged groups, and entire families. I think I’ll come back sometimeMore
