It was lunchtime and I was looking for a place to eat that was different than traditional fast food and had always appreciated Vietnamese subs, so I decided to give Tang a try. This might appear trite but I found the menu posted above the...counter to be well organized and not cluttered (i.e. not overwhelming), so choosing a sub was easy, in this case a Sate Beef Sub. The sub was prepared and toasted rather quickly, although there weren't more than a couple of orders before mine, and I didn't realize that I also had my own choice of Vietnamese-style toppings and sauces after that to choose from (cucumber, cilantro, pickled carrots, etc.) instead of having them chosen for me as at some other places. It tasted as delicious as most other Vietnamese subs I've eaten but for $7.49 + tax I wasn't expecting a foot-long sub that was MORE than filling! So the value is definitely there in addition to great taste. Perhaps that explains why, by the end of my visit, the restaurant was also almost more than full.
