The decor of the restaurant has been updated, but the facade of the restaurant and front entrance still make it look like a sports bar. I had low expectations and was pleasantly surprised by the authenticity of the food. The Tonkatsu (Pork Cutlet) is really...tasty and the sushi/sashimi as well as curries (Beef/Pork) are authentically Japanese (as are many of the staff). Desserts are just average, but you have Lucky Donuts and Kul Ice cream nearby. Good luck and enjoy.
