Discovered Salsa & Agave on a recent weekend trip to Vancouver. We had not intended to go for Mexican food, but are very happy that we found this location while looking for brunch. The food, service and atmosphere were all excellent! I had one of...the soups and my partner had the Huevos Rancheros. The Pozole soup was a rich pork broth full of hominy and chicken, served with a crisp tortilla to crumble, as well as fresh lettuce and lime. It was super satisfying, flavourful and rich. The huevos were also excellent, served with excellent homemade refritos and rice. Their homemade 'red' sauce is wonderful with a mild 'zip' to it and a lovely texture. Bevvies were frosty cold. I am very sad that we do not have a Salsa & Agave location in Edmonton as we would eat there often. Excellent value and efficient, friendly service!More
