My wife looked forward to Indian fine dining at a highly rated Montreal restaurant. Upon our arrival we were seated in the back of the restaurant and forgotten. 20 minutes after being seated I had to go to the entrance of the kitchen to get...someone’s attention to ask for water and a menu. The waiters were running around the restaurant frantically trying to serve each of the tables. The service was awful. Rather than apologizing, our waiter gave excuses of being busy. We proceeded to place our order after 40 minutes and hungrily ate two Papuans. Not to our surprise the food came like warm and so we flagged down a waiter to replace the food expressing that we did not want it warmed up but rather fresh new dishes. The food came back reheated thick and clumpy. We asked for the manager who convinced us to remain for dinner and did arrange for hot food however by that time we had eaten enough papa-dun and naan bread that we were no longer hungry. Well the bill came and believe it or not there was an addition item on the bill that we did not order. This restaurant may be a good restaurant however unfortunately our experience was disappointing and expensive.
