I attended the Birthday dinner party of a close friend attended by 18 family and friends at Phil's Restaurant Glenmore location. The restaurantwas able to block off one side of the restaurant completely away from other diners. It was nostalgic and this Phils location had...been a favourite of the birthday girl's parents for decades in the 60's-90's and one we had all been to dozens of times before. One waitress handled our entire group efficiently even allowing time to chat with many of us and to the grandchildren in attendance. The separate meal bills were distributed in a timely fashion and were accurate in all regards. The food was traditional Phil's fare including pancakes and bacon, breakfast sandwiches and fruit, taco salad bowl, vegetarian options, cheeseburgers and fries, salsbury steak, monte cristo sandwich, etc. Everyone was very happy with their meals and appreciated the reasonable prices ranging from $10.95-16.95. Half litres of wine were $10.95 and that was popular as well. The atmosphere was great having the privacy and the being able to have the children move around in that section freely. Phils is a gret option for a birthday party like ours or a lunch or dinner meeting where privacy, price and good food are needed.
