This restaurant is clean inside. The menu is a typical Vietnamese menu. They have Pho, Vermicelli dishes, Rice dishes, Salads and Vietnamese Subs. I tried the Shrimp Papaya Salad and the Grilled Beef Sub (Banh Mi). I have eaten Shrimp Papaya Salad many times before...at other places, so I’m well aware of how it should taste. The version here was bland and boring. It completely lacked the zingy and tangy flavour that it should have. I could barely taste the lime, there was no cherry tomatoes, there were no chilli peppers. Some places also add green beans and onion. This was just Green papaya, Carrot and Shrimp. It was BORING. The grilled beef was flavourful and tasty, but they didn’t toast the baguette. What a shame. It’s the only place I’ve ever had a Vietnamese Sub where they didn’t toast the Baguette. That is a major mistake. They could have also put some pickled vegetables and more cilantro inside (they just put one stem inside). This could have been a very decent Sub, but it failed because of those mistakes.
