I've been going very regularly to this restaurant for years since I was a kid, and their recipe has held up for years and years. Fantastic dishes for those who crave home-made, filling food, and especially for those who have never tried beef noodles. The...noodles here are flat, soft, and easy to eat, and the broth is flavourful (and not salty), and the taste will definitely last in your mouth a while. Plus your orders are very often prepared within about 5-20min if you eat in, and you can order by phone for pick up! Dishes I recommend are: Fried tofu... So fantastically spicy and hot if you eat in. Also has a dryish consistency and crunch to it, but the tofu inside is soft. Dumplings... Great stuffings with chewy, brilliantly prepared "skin"! Pig ear... If you eat you must try these, spicy yet moist, chewy and have a strong flavour. I'm a vegetarian now but this dish sticks with me. So good. Rice dish- I don't remember the exact name but it's rice and beef, again I haven't had it in a while but it is so flavourful and easy to eat. And of course, the beef noodles- for all the reasons I've mentioned! If you're a visitor in Vancouver, or a local who's never stepped in, please check this place out. A family-run business with food I honestly haven't been able to find any comparisons to in all my years here.
