The two women who run Suhan Dumpling are committed to making very tasty Korean food. The menu is small and the highlight is the dumplings. I have had their fried, steamed and "king" dumplings and they all are tasty - the steamed dumplings are made...fresh every day. The entrees may be a little more spotty - I had a very good dumpling soup with rice cakes, but my friends were not entirely impressed with the Japche. The food is made fresh, so service is slow, especially if they get busy. They are primarily a takeout place, so they only have eight seats and canned/bottled drinks available, and plastic utensils/disposable wooden chopsticks. No plates, either. The service is attentive. The ladies making the food are very keen to know your opinion of the food. And, because this is a primarily Jewish district, they have made the decision to have no pork in their food - just beef and chicken. I've eaten a fair bit of Korean food and this place is worth a look.
