More on that later. The food was ok. Nothing to write home about or make an interesting IG story. Not even really tapas. The plates were almost too small to share. We sat at the back near the kitchen and washroom and my clothes and...hair smelled like charbroiled smoke smell. I put on the same shirt that I wore that night and I smell like a smoky kitchen right now. Now I'm East Indian. If anyone knows what smelling like food is, it's me. And I'm not usually too bothered by it. But today in my smelly grapes and soda blouse, I'm not feelin it. If you like that smell, sit at the back. However, our server was super sweet and attentive, funny too with a personality. The washroom was cute. Gotta love a good washroom. The only reason I gave it a 4 was the server, and here's where the old cackling ladies come in. That was us. A table of 4 cackling old ladies who hadn't seen each other in a while, in a mood to drink some wine and dish about everyone who annoys us. Yup, the age ole pastime called gossiping. ??? we were so so loud our probably obnoxious because we were really so excited to get a day pass from jail (that is, our houses filled with kids and dirty dishes). We had a really good time. And they didn't tell us to be quiet. They could have though. They probably should have. It looked like the other people there were also having a good time and I guess we didn't chase them away. So in summary, eat there. It's good. It's not amazing. But it's fun, lively and the happy hour red is really, really good.
