Decided to try out this place on the recommendation from family who live close by. Since, I'm not local, I'm not sure whether to thank him, or curse him that I can't have this food all the time (might be a good thing)! Pizza was...for sure on the menu to try. Had the Meatzza, House Special (with Tandoori chicken), and the Donair Pizza. All were excellent. With encouragement from family we also got a butter chicken too. This place has ruined Butter Chicken for me... from anywhere else! Hands down the best butter chicken I've ever had. Texture of the chicken is a little off as you can tell it's made from pre-cooked, but the sauce is made to order for each dish, so nothing but fresh ingredients. Don't even get me started on the garlic naan bread <drooling>. If you want a tip, try dipping the House Special Pizza in the butter chicken sauce! Now I'm not sure which business to thank for my Donair I had too (Hey, only decent donair I get is when I'm in Alberta. Kelowna donairs suck!), but thanks for the experience! Also thanks to family for warning me about the size of the jumbo (which could feed him for two meals), so I opted for the large instead, which was LARGE! When they made my donair, they first put down a large thin sheet of bread that I couldn't place at first, then later realized it was a stretched out and rolled thin sheet of naan bread. Then then placed the pita on this and made the donair. Afterwards they rolled up the donair and wrapped the bread around it all, then grilled it. Genius! the outer bread keeps everything in place! Oh, and the donair tasted great too! Next time I'm back in the city I will for sure be coming back!More
