We have been to the Collins many times before. Always love their huge patio, great service and great food with large portions. Sad to say this visit was not at par. Service was still great and clubhouse sandwich was awesome. The below par was with...my mojito… with it not having any mint was disappointing but I decided it still may taste good but unfortunately it didn’t. Also the Mac and cheese has been a favourite for many years. Sadly yesterday’s was not at all how it use to be… it was very dry and lacking flavour. The portion was also small but I’d let that slide since we know covid has hit hard on businesses. Did we speak up? No and yes I know we could of but we had just been to a family funeral and just wanted to enjoy being together without complaining. My hope in writing this, is they will take note and be sure to correct things for our next visit.
