My wife were going to a movie at the Northgate Cinema and decided to try Asia City. I have been to the Pembina location sometime ago. When we arrived there were only two other tables occupied. I went to the bathroom before ordering and found...it could use a good cleaning. The soap dispenser was basically empty. I got a very small amount to wash my hands. When you walk in there is a large menu over the kitchen area. the cash register is against the wall separating the kitchen from the hall leading to the bathrooms. You place your order, pay and then receive a number to take with you to your table. My wife ordered a chicken sandwich and I ordered three vegetable spring roles and chicken Pad Thai. The total was $20.30 which I thought was a decent price. We were told we could sit anywhere and they would bring the food out. We sat in the atrium portion closest to McPhillips. The first chair my wife sat in had two sunken areas which was uncomfortable. She exchanged it with another. A young lady brought me my Pad Thai. A few minutes later she brought my wife's sandwich. There is a counter close to where we were sitting with plates, bowls, utensils, glasses and a water dispenser. It is self serve. The Pad Thai was hot (not spicy) and tasty. If there were peanuts in it they were ground pretty fine. The portion was a good size and there was plenty of chicken. My wife said her sandwich was fresh. The chicken was warm and the vegetables and bread were fresh. She said she would order it again. I was half way through my Pad Thai and no sign of my spring rolls. I informed the young lady I had ordered spring rolls and she assured me that they would be out shortly. A little different than most places where I have always received my spring rolls first. When they arrived they were very hot and accompanied by a dipping sauce. They too were tasty. It was quick which worked for making it to our movie on time. There were another four or five tables occupied when we left. Our only complaint was that it could use a good cleaning. As we walked out there was some food on the floor where people would walk. The entrance could also use a good cleaning.
