Visting Gastown, our group of 7 Aussies couldn't get a table anywhere for our party. It was raining and we were wet and cold -things were looking desperate. Stumbled across Ampersand looked empty so wondered what the place would be like. Took a punt and...WOW. It was gold. Excellent food (Chinese tapas and share plates) knowledgeable bar staff with top quality drinks at very reasonable pricing. Great wine list extensive Gin and Whiskey menu and great cocktails but best of all was the service - made us feel so welcome. Highly recommend for small groups and large. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
