I dined at the Penang with a friend and we tried five dishes, an appetizer and four mains. We had rending lamb, the haddock, nasi goring and samba green beans. All dishes were good but not terrific. There is better elsewhere. The service was also...haphazard, there was a group in the private room and I think they were the focus. I felt like I had wandered into someone else local and it wasn't going to be my local. In Vancouver there are better places for Malaysian food, I was disappointed.
