Caveat: never been to Japan, and unfamiliar with the Izakaya norms. This is a late night spot with a rowdy atmosphere after 9 (at least). There is a drum they beat (don’t know why) and they greet new customers upon entering, loudly with a Japanese...welcome. I got the impression it is mostly students who eat here. The sushi I ordered was sweeter than other sushi for some reason. Sake was kinda expensive, but they had a lot of sake options. There is WiFi if you ask for it, and there were sports on the TVs behind the bar.
