My 11-year-old son and I were reminiscing about our family trip to Scotland a few years ago and how much we enjoyed the tearooms so we decided to visit La Brume dans Mes Lunettes on a rainy day last week. I must admit that we...were somewhat surprised that the setting was not as fancy as a typical tearoom. It’s a quaint local establishment with a simple decor. However the tea service was quite lovely. The food was served on charming, traditional dinnerware. The tea was really authentic and delicious and well worth the visit. Highly recommend if you are simply craving good old-fashioned English tea, sconces and cucumber sandwiches.
