I went there with a couple friends on the evening of Friday November 26th after a corporate party and as we get there, the bouncer annouces that we cannot go in without a reservation to which we replied that we would be buying a bottle,...so we would be good customers. He then asks me for my credit card and ID that they would hold until I paid at the end of the night (so they had a tab open for me). So we order a bottle and do not procede to drink it all as we didn't want to drink too much. As we were leaving, I realized I didn't have my cards. I then go back in to pay our bottle that we had taken. They give me the machine to pay with my card already in it and I tell them that we only drank one bottle (which is around $250 we were told). The machine showed a total of $651. I told them I would not be paying 400$ more than what we had actually ordered. They then proceed to bring me in a backalley room with the bouncer to try and intimidate me to pay and start roughing me up. Mind you, I am probably the least aggressive person when I begin to drink. So I was scared at this point. I tried contacting my friends but they weren't answering. So they held me "hostage" until I paid for a few hours. I had no way of reasoning with them, they were just trying to extort extra cash from me obviously and I was defenseless. All in all worst experience on the town I have ever had hands down. Not friendly whatsoever from beginning to end. They seem to have a reputation of shady stuff like this. If you have the option, don't ever go to this bar!More
