Our new favourite downtown for Japanese! The presentation of the dishes is a feast for the eyes: and the taste delivers freshness and flavour in abundance. For our 3rd visit we invited our grandchildren now 22 and 18 but sushi lovers since infancy. They were...impressed with the lunch specials. Two of us had the pork tenderloin oju box (see photos), I had the traditional nigiri selection which comes in a smaller box but equally beautiful and delicious. All three included an excellent white miso and the oju selction came with both rice and a tiny perfectly formed dessert. Our granddaughter chose an order of yam tempura (very generous portion) a California roll and one other roll. Service here is always attentive. They don't take reservations at lunch on Saturdays so get there early if it's a Saturday.
