I really enjoyed myself. I went for a 94th birthday (myself, the birthday lady, & another), and they were very nice! We were late, and they were accommodating in every way, & they let us order lunch for breakfast because the birthday lady wanted a...lunch item! We had the Fish and Chips which knocked the socks off of me in expectations (especially for the location)! Cooked to perfection, moist and flaky, you could literally see the juice run out of it when you pressed on it slightly. I only needed a fork to cut it into pieces (the knife was optional) and the batter was so crisp and well made that you could actually hear the crackle. The fries were another hit. Usually you have to eat the fries (otherwise known as chips) first, but these fries keep well. Lightly flavoured and made just right, that the quality didn’t change from the first bite to the last. I love things that are acidic, so the lemon slice, 1/4 pickle wedge, and small cup of vinaigrette coleslaw topped it off for me as the accompaniment to the meal. I loved the idea of having the tartar sauce in a small closed container. Angello was REALLY nice when we inquired about some sort of dessert for the B-Day Lady & had something whipped up on the spot for her. He entertained her and just made her so very happy! When we drove the B-Day Lady home later, she told me that that was the BEST Birthday ever!!! If I had to mention anything negative, I would have to say, it was easy to find, but hard to get to, if you are coming from the opposite side of the street that they are located on. The snow piles and banks make it difficult to find the parking lot, especially if you are one that might have difficulties in mobility. Apart from that one thing, ... ... Restaurant Peddler’s made her day, with the food, on the spot dessert, and attention! Thank You so very much for everything you did for us!!!More
