This is the first time we have gone to Nook. Since reopening after covid restrictions were eased they now take reservations. They have seating times at 5:00, 6:30 and 8:00. If you have a reservation for the earlier seating you have a time limit of...1 ½ hours. We found this to be ample time and we did not feel pressured to get out. There is a temperature check done as you enter the restaurant. The restaurant is spacious, light and airy. The tables are nicely spaced apart. The service staff all attended to us. This is very nice as we did not have to find a specific server to receive service. The service from all the staff was phenomenal. Our water was topped up, quality checks were done during the course of our meal and the staff talked to us and made us feel very welcome even although there was the time constraint. There are 2 unisex stalls for the rest rooms. They are separate rooms and very clean. Well done – Steven and staff. We shared the special pizza of the day that had spicy sausage and mushrooms and penne arrabiata. Both were perfectly cooked and delicious. We really liked the thin crust on the pizza. It was still crisp and held the toppings nicely. We shared a bottle of wine with dinner and one of the servers even topped it up for us once. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Nook and would definitely return. Parking, although difficult to find is available further up on Yew St. or on some of the side streets.
