First, important to note that this place is not at the listed address (unless TA accepted my notice of change). It is sitting at : 2687 Wellington St, Montreal, QC H3K 1X8 The place doesn't look like much from the outside... nor does once you...step in. It is an hybrid between a sports bar, as lots of TVs hang on the walls... and a sketchy neighbourhood bar, with the video lottery machines being placed right in the center of the place... and many people losing their cash on them. But, the waitresses are very courteous from the moment you set foot in the place. I ordered the smoked meat plate... and it was very good. Although the sandwich was on the smallish size, there were plenty of french fries and I don't believe I'm exaggerating when I say these might be the best ones I've ever eaten. They are well cooked (most likely doubled-cooked), but still a bit crispy on the outside. The dish also came with some slaw and a giant dill pickle that was very good ! If this area... this is a must try and leave whatever judgement you may have about such a place at the door... or be disappointed to miss out on it !More
