Located on Center Street, Tokyo Street Market is a great place to grab some late night food and/or authentic Japanese snacks/drinks/desserts. I really love the vibes of this place, it's always bustling and the staff are super friendly. There are always new items being added and many items that made me feel reminiscent of my recent trip to Japan (ex: melon pan, daifuku, canned Boss coffee). The prices are very reasonable and the ramen is some of the cheapest and in my honest opinion better than some of the ramen restaurants in Calgary! I always get a deluxe spicy miso ramen (they offer small bowls of ramen for $5 which includes seaweed and chasu pork but for $7 you can get the deluxe which includes an egg, beef brisket and some ground pork). One downer is that the egg is always hard boiled vs soft boiled like traditional ramen. I've tried their skewers as well but they were quite small pieces of meat and mediocre in taste. My winners here are the ramen and their $2.50 bubble tea!!! (It's premade in a cooler). My favourite is the fruit tea which comes with pearls and coconut jelly. Overall, I always really enjoy my visits here!
