Two of us visited this restaurant for pancakes - supper time. The wait staff was very friendly. However, we proceeded to wait for 1 1/2 hours for 8 pancakes and a side order of bacon. The wait staff were very apologetic (it was no fault...of their own). They only delivered the bacon and 6 pancakes. The other two didn’t arrive. We paid our bill and left. I went in the next day to lodge a complaint with the manager. She to was very apologetic and knew about the problem. (Short staffed in the kitchen). She then proceeded to give us a gift certificate worth more than our original bill. It was obvious she wanted our return business and bent over backwards to keep us as a customer. In business it takes time and effort to cultivate and retain customers, but one mistake will drive a customer away. Her customer service skills were fantastic, along with the wait staffs, that is why I gave them a 4 star rating. We will be back, and oh yes the food was delish.
