My brother and I went to Sam's for lunch on the weekend. There were lots of windows so it was bright even though it was cloudy outside. We were seated right away and our drinks came right away. FYI, Sams is not licenced but does...have a large variety of drinks to choose from. We both ordered Pork Schnitzel, and my brother had his with Lumberjack Sauce. The dish came with Fries, but my brother had his with Speatzle instead. The meals came out freshly cooked. The breading was nice and crispy, not greasy at all. The pork was alright, it was thin enough but I found it a bit dry and under seasoned. If I had ordered the Hunter Sauce (I was tempted, but I was scared the schnitzel would have been soggy. I would have been wrong because the breading was so crispy) I think I would have been more pleased. The fries on the other hand were awesome. They were crispy and so well seasoned I did not need salt or pepper, didn't even need ketchup. My brother was very happy with his schnitzel, and was impressed with the quality of the speatzle. The dessert menu plus the dessert display case looked delicious, but I was to full to attempt it. Maybe I will go back just to try the dessert. It was great to see a new German restaurant in town. The also have burgers and other dishes that looked great. I will return.
