It was nice to see the freshly made tortilla dough being rolled out and pressed into small taco size wraps. So many places offer tacos only to use store bought tortillas. Overall food is served fresh and with a Mexican flare just enough so you...know that there somebody back there that has either lived or cooked Mexican food for a long time. Nachos and guac are good, but the tortilla chips are cut into narrow strips so that getting into the small cups of salsa proves a little annoying a cumbersome. If you have good salsa then show it off so customers can really get in there and taste it. Sunday flautas special con pollo for $9 was pretty darn good. Almost worth ordering 2 orders! Take advantage of the hotter sauces by the wall. Overall a great find and refreshing take on the myriad of other 'taco' shops in Vancouver.
