I'm not a big foodie. But for me, the atmosphere is everything. The food was good, and the service was amazing. It was our last day in Quebec before heading home later that evening. My husband and I were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and...I really wanted to end our weekend with someplace special. It was hot but you could feel rain was in the air. As we walked, no restaurant really "called" to me. After about 15 minutes of exploring we found ourselves in front of Ty Bec Crepes & Cie. There was a sign showing seating in the back, so we followed it. I was not prepared for what I would see! As we went through the narrow tunnel we found an opening to our right leading to an enclosed eating area. We were seated right away and our server was very kind and helpful- and may have laughed at the amount of water we drank! As we were ordering, the skies opened up and it began to sprinkle. Luckily for us, we could stay outside. The area was equipped with a tent like covering and kept us dry while it rained around us. We sat around for a while eating crepes and drinking our coffee and cappuccinos. Thankfully there were only a couple of other customers seated so it almost felt like we had the place to ourselves. And so, I'm very grateful to have stumbled upon this hidden gem. I plan to come back in the future when I visit this beautiful, little city once more.
