We were on Broughton street, hungry, and our favourite Deli (Broughton Street Deli) was closed. We saw the Tikka Bar and decided to give it a try, ordering the Lamb Kebob wrap and the Chicken Tikka wrap (7.99 each). Both ended up being very good....I especially liked the Chicken Tikka. Sauces were tasty----we ordered them mild and they still had a bit of a spicy kick.....but just a bit. The lamb wasn't like I expect (chunks that look like a steak) from Kebabs but was more like something put together from ground lamb. But the lamb flavour did come through. The service is counter service but our very gracious server did us the favour of cutting the kebabs in half so the two of us could split them and have half of each. And also gave us water. And the atmosphere of the place feels comfortable and informal, with no obnoxious music blaring. Definitely worth going back to.
