Simply stated, you come to this place for the draft beer. They've always got at least 15 different craft brews on tap at all times, and usually it's more than 20 (including a beer engine!). The selection changes from week to week as well, so...there is usually something new to try. They have (almost) no bottles/cans and they don't serve standard domestics (Molson, Labatt etc...). Nonetheless, the staff are very knowledgeable and are always willing to help you find something that you will like. While the food is adequate, it is not the primary focus of this place. The kitchen is postage-stamp tiny, and the bar staff usually prepare everything themselves. Even so, I've never had anything bad here and the weekend specials are often very good. They've got a great patio out front if you'd like to watch the street, and a quieter, more secluded court-yard in the back. Both are awesome when the weather is nice. As for the other reviewer who suggested that they don't clean their beer lines regularly... I have no idea where he's getting this slanderous idea from! They are RELIGIOUS about the quality of the beer they serve, and if you check the blackboard beside the bar, you will see that they post "Beer Lines last cleaned..." followed by the date that they were done. They've been doing this for years.
