The Montreal smoked meat in my opinion is the best I have ever had. But the the neighbourhood and the location of the restaurant, the atmosphere and the staff are second to none. I speak very little French but had no problems communicating with every...one. The meat is cooked to perfection, just the right amount of fat to meat ratio and lots of it. I ordered the big plate (la grande assisted) you get a pile of meat on a plate and eight slices of bread and you build your own sandwiches. You also get a pile of great tasting hand cut fries. I will definitely go back again.
