They were very busy when we went there Monday night for our 13th wedding anniversary dinner with wife & two kids. Seated right away and the two waitresses were moving fast to get everything done, so that is commendable. The Greek salad was huge and...had lots of goat cheese and fresh veg which we loved. They had a mix of pita and garlic toast, which was fine (large pieces). The appetizer calamari was also well made and very good sized portion. Very filling. Unfortunately, the roast lamb shoulder entree was very disappointing. The lamb itself was ok (not quite as flavourful as Panos), but the real MISSes were the flavourless rice, overcooked "roast" potatoes, and overcooked vegetables. The potatoes and veggies were mushy, so way overcooked. Not at all enjoyable to eat. Should have gone to Panos Taverna, our usual and still favourite Greek taverna in Vancouver. Too bad cause came to Candia a few years ago and had nothing but good memories of good food from that original experience.
