A busy place for a Thursday lunchtime. Arrived in a larger group of 7, but had no issues getting a table. Place was busy with groups and families. Online ordering was a new experience for some so asked for actual physical menus for the grandparents...with us. All came sanitized. Water appeared very quickly on the table and drinks soon after that, as some wanted to wait for Happy Hour to begin…as there were deals on drinks and some dishes. The Chipotle Calamari was a delight with the batter being crisp and light. The veggies complimented the calamari and the dip was smooth. The Warm Spinach and 3 Cheese Dip quickly vanished and was a good pairing with drinks as we waited on the entrees. Entrees arrived en Masse and were well received as they looked great. The chicken Hunan Kung pao was a new dish to try and customized with a couple of extra Hunan Peppers. The flavours were good, the noodles soft and the lingering heat from the peppers did not overpower the dish or render the mouth numb. The sirloin steak was cooked to perfection, a medium rare pink and tasted soft and delicious I was told. The grandparents enjoyed the burgers, sharing fries and talking all the while. The busboy was attentive continually filling water glasses while our male server got a little distracted with a group of young ladies that were seated in his area (can’t blame him there…) Overall a throughly enjoyable time if a little noisy. Certainly on a par or above some other Earls experiences. Worth a return…definitely a safe choice if in the area.
