This gem of a traditional white-tablecloth restaurant ticks all the boxes: quiet location, magnificent ocean view, atmosphere, great food every time, quiet polite service, oak paneling everywhere, and fifty paces or so to a sandy Pacific Ocean beach. The house doubles during the day as...a non-profit neighbourhood senior's centre and the restaurant revenues help pay the non-profit's costs. But the best part is the fine traditional dishes. I had the juiciest steak I had in years there tonight, and Madame had succulent duck. The starters and desserts were also exceptional. This place provides the same comforting experience decade after decade. Not cheap but worth every penny.
