Our first choice, the nearby Homer Street Cafe, was forced to close due to a COVID emergency and they recommended the nearby per se Social Corner as an alternative.
Our first choice, the nearby Homer Street Cafe, was forced to close due to a COVID emergency and they recommended the nearby per se Social Corner as an alternative. Even though it was already a busy night for the Social Corner they welcomed us and...gave us a wonderful table near the front of the restaurant. We didn't know what to expect but it turns out the Social Corner was a fabulous experience, with very friendly staff and incredible food (try the scrumptious Seafood Paella and the house made gelato). The decor has a bistro feel, on steroids. There are soaring ceilings, spectacular light fixtures and a huge wall of overstock bottles and foodstuffs. A new favourite and highly recommended.
