Found this little gem in an industrial/business area complex pretty much where no one would find it. My only criticism is that the crowd gathered quick for lunch and the small staff and kitchen combo was not prepared for that and it took a little...too long for the lunch special to be made. It's very cute inside and the open kitchen concept is nice for watching food be made as well as mingling a bit with the staff which you will do because they are all very friendly. I ordered the Puerto Rico inspired special which included beef strips, breaded chicken, and rice with beans. It also came with the option of an aoli sauce which was really nice with the rice. The menu includes hot lunch items like fries and gravy, fish and chips, and chicken fingers as well as an extensive sandwich bar. The prices are reflective of a quality mom and pop shop and are worth the extra buck or two.
