We was looking to eat some Italian food in Laurier, but suddenly we change our mind for Japanese but, in our way to the 2nd option someone in the car said: “Why we don’t stop on that Mexican place” Nobody nows this Karisma so we...went around the block and stop there. We took a table in the terrasse but before our meal start to rain so we go inside. The size of the restaurant was ok, look elegant for a Mexican restaurant usually they make an low class decor, this one look much better, more classy. I order 3 different tacos, Cochinita, Al pastor and Rib-eye if I recall well. The size are correct (you can split in two or enlarge with the 2 tortillas) very clever. (reasonable price) Also we had ceviche du marche, and 3 or 4 orders of totopos (the ships with guacamole) they called guacamole tradicionnelle, so far the best of Montréal) The menu wasn’t extensive which indicates this numbers of plates are good (and they were). The service was Ok but in that time there was only 1 waitress and 1 person in the kitchen, I think they have only 3-4 months. Location great, very clean, but they need more liquor in the bar. I can’t give them 5 star but they was really close, definitely I will return very soon, I already spoke with several friends to take them there. I hope they improve this little minors detail, so if you are around laurier, you can have a great time in this place.
